Scan & Pay: scanning invoices quickly and safely
No more retyping the account number, structured format communication and amount. Via the credit transfer form – the ‘pink strip’ – the Doccle app detects all the information that is needed for paying the invoice correctly. Without a bank card or card reader. This makes everything extremely fast and allows you to keep an overview in one place. This means that Doccle users (who already have an account) can pay all their invoices via Doccle, but also those who do not yet have a Doccle account can use the feature. Moreover, the Doccle app can also keep track of all payments in the history. This addition makes Doccle a convenient platform for everyone and reaffirms its reputation as Belgium’s most versatile administration tool.
‘Digital payment methods are becoming increasingly popular, but they often also impose restrictions’, according to Bram Lerouge, CEO of Doccle. ‘We have deliberately chosen a solution that is accessible to everyone. With the Scan & Pay feature, you can pay invoices from any account whatsoever, regardless of which bank you are affiliated with. We do not ask for a standing order or a direct debit as do many other platforms. This makes our solution unique in Belgium. With this app, you pay and save your invoice in a few seconds.’
For payments via this new feature, Doccle again makes use of Bancontact: ‘Payments are becoming more a part of the complete customer experience, almost invisible. Thanks to the new ‘Scan & Pay’ feature within the Doccle app, from now on you can pay every invoice with the Bancontact app instantly. Safely and easily, the way you are used to with a Bancontact payment. We are pleased that our partnership is going a step further and we wish Doccle users a carefree payment experience’, says Kris De Ryck, CEO of Bancontact Company.
The renewed Doccle app is available for free to both Android and iOS devices, in the App Store and on Google Play.
